Fight League: Survivor Announces Free Mint on Ronin

GMonsters, a Japanese entertainment and game company, is set to launch its first NFT mint for its Fight League Survivor game on the Ronin blockchain.

With the help of MIXI, the Japanese mobile game publisher that owns the Fight League IP, the free mint is scheduled for July 31, 19:00 PST, and runs for 24 hours.

Every ‘Chip’ NFT will offer in-game buffs. For example, some NFTs increase attack speed or reduce damage taken, with the rarer Chips providing the biggest advantages. Although the NFTs are free to mint, users must visit the Fight League website, log in with their Ronin Wallet, and complete three social quests to qualify for minting. Afterwards, they can mint three Chip NFTs.

In February of this year, GMonsters announced it would be bringing three Fight League games to Sky Mavis’ Ronin blockchain. The other two games in development include Fight League Missions (a loot-collecting ARPG) and Fight League Medallion (a PvP turn-based card game). Jia, the founder of GMonsters, said that “Fight League’s world is perfect for the rich community and ecosystem of Ronin.”

Ronin was developed in 2021 by game development company Sky Mavis to support its wildly popular play-to-earn game Axie Infinity. With the ability to process up to 100,000 transactions per second and near-negligible transaction fees, it is aimed at being the top blockchain for Web3 games. Recently on July 26, the chain recorded over 2 million daily active users.

MIXI is best known for Monster Strike, a game that attracted 61 million players and has grossed over $10 billion.

Business & Creators Continue to Drop Free NFT Mints

Fans of GMonsters’ Fight League series should be excited to see the game’s evolution as it further integrates onto the Ronin blockchain and embraces Web3 tech. And the fact that the NFT drop is free is icing on the cake.
