Marvel has teamed up with veteran designer Christian Louboutin for a new collection of footwear with accompanying digital collectibles. The ‘Chrisitan Louboutin x Marvel’ collection was launched in celebration of Disney100 and features superhero-inspired shoes and accessories for men, women, and children.
The collection merges Louboutin’s signature style with the storytelling powers of Marvel. Besides the physical products, NFTs will be gifted to users who purchase the the shoes and accessories, and to guests who attend the launch events. The ‘Sea Warrior Special Edition’ NFTs are signed, hand-drawn illustration of a unique one-of-one shoe designed by Louboutin and distributed by the VeVe NFT marketplace.
The new collection from the world-renowned designer was inspired by three Marvel entities: Namor — Marvel comic’s first ever character — Infinity Stones, and Moon Knights‘ black and silver suit. If you visit the designer’s site, you can see that every piece in the collection has true superhero vibes.
Furthermore, Marvel has created a comic book that depicts Louboutin as a Superhero. The designer‘s top clients will get a physical copy of the one-of-a-kind comic book.
