NodeMonkes and Gaming NFTs Have Big Week

NodeMonkes, the top NFT collection on Bitcoin, led all collections in daily sales on CryptoSlam twice this week. Over the past seven days, NodeMonkes has done an impressive $4.6 million in sales, earning it the number four spot for top NFT collections by sales volume.

With the surge in activity, NodeMonkes surpassed the Avalanche-based collection Crabada to claim the 27th spot on CryptoSlam’s all-time sales chart. The collection of 10,000 NFTs inscribed on Bitcoin in February 2023 has done a whopping $229.1 million in total sales.

Besides NodeMonkes, gaming NFTs have also been rising up the charts. Guild of Guardians Avatars, an NFT collection from Immutable, is holding the number two spot for sales over the past seven days with around $6.1 million in total sales. Gods Unchained Cards, another gaming collection from Immutable, held the number ten spot with around $295,000 in sales.

Coming in third was DMarket, a Mythos-based collection for in-game NFT items, with $5.6 million in sales over the past seven days. Lastly, Fantasy Top, an NFT card game that revolves around social media and crypto influencers that recently launched on the Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain Blast, came in at number six on CryptoSlam, with around $3 million in sales during the same time.

Unsurprisingly, Ethereum and Bitcoin were neck and neck for top blockchains for NFT sales over the past seven days, with Ethereum coming out slightly ahead — $36.7 million to Bitcoin’s $32.1 million. While Bitcoin has outperformed Ethereum for NFT sales over the past 30 days, Ethereum remains the leading blockchain for total NFT sales volume.
