In a win for NFT collectors and traders, Rarity Sniper has partnered with CoinMarketCap to provide enhanced NFT data for its platform. As of last month, CoinMarketCap users can peruse data on thousands of Ethereum collections — all derived from Rarity Sniper’s API. The statistics include:
- 24-hour volume traded
- Collection market cap
- Floor price
- Number of sales
- Average sales price
- Unique ownership percentage
Today, Rarity Sniper provides data on 1,300+ Ethereum-based collections that users can see on CoinMarketCap. Because the data updates in real-time, users can use it to discover trends between NFT collections and employ the data to make informed NFT purchasing decisions.
Astute Rarity Snipers may notice that the statistics listed are similar to those on Rarity Sniper’s own dedicated collections’ data page. The key difference is that while those on CMC provide a good overview of Ethereum collections’ daily movements, the statistics on Rarity Sniper are slightly more detailed.
Rarity Sniper also contributes information to CoinMarketCap’s Upcoming NFT Drops section.
About CoinMarketCap
Founded in 2013, CoinMarketCap is the leading and most trusted source for cryptocurrency data. Millions of users (including the U.S. government) rely on CoinMarketCap for data about the prices, market caps, trends, and patterns of cryptocurrency.
Its website contains many helpful sections about Web3, including parts covering Ethereum, GameFi, and non-fungible tokens. The area on CoinMarketCap’s website overviewing NFTs has a wide range of statistics —including a listing of coins related to non-fungible tokens.
In 2020, Binance acquired CoinMarketCap for an undisclosed price. Likely due to the integration, CoinMarketCap can provide data on NFT projects launching on the Binance Smart Chain. Today, a user can compare NFT project statistics on three blockchains while viewing CMC’s NFT section: Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Solana.
Rarity Sniper is pleased to contribute to CoinMarketCap’s NFT section by supplying enhanced statistics. The goal is to give more NFT traders and collectors the information they need to make well-reasoned decisions about NFTs in the Web3 space.
