No surprise here: Dubai is hosting another event that puts Web3 technologies and companies in the spotlight.

The TMRW Dubai 2023 is partnering with blockchain learning and public relations firm GuerillaBuzz for the event. It will take place from February 8th to 10th, 2023.

The three-day conference features experts from a myriad of fields discussing crypto, NFTs, the metaverse, DeFi, and more. An attendance of over 6,000 is expected, with potentially 40,000-plus tuning in online. There will be over eighty keynote speakers, including members and founders of projects like Cyber Gear, Tether Holdings, and MetaMetaverse.

Also, representatives from blockchain associations and crypto venture funds, including Loretta Joseph, the global regulatory advisor at AP Capital, and Dr Michael Gebert, the Head of the European Blockchain Association are expected.

Some of the specific topics include bitcoin as legal tender, global energy crisis and its effect on blockchain consensus systems, crypto regulation, the potential of NFTs and their utility beyond collectibles, and the metaverse.

TMRW Dubai 2023 was organized after a kickoff conference held in Belgrade, Serbia which drew more than 20,000 people from over 100 countries attending in-person and online.

Tickets are available on TMRW Dubai 2023’s website, where cryptocurrency and other forms of payment are accepted.

Web3 Conferences & Events Push On

Although 2022 was as tough as ever for crypto and NFTs, it doesn’t seem to have dampened people’s enthusiasm. The TMRW Dubai 2023 isn’t the only conference we’ve seen dedicated to Web3 this year. We’ve covered several articles about Web3 conferences in recent months. Here are the top stories.

First, about three months ago Oxford University held the OxBAT (Oxford Blockchain, Art & Technology) Conference. Speakers from around the world gathered to discuss Web3 themes like how the blockchain can generate new forms of art and the cultural significance of NFTs.

Next, two months ago, the Web Summit was held in Lisbon, Portugal. It brought together leaders of global tech companies from around the world. This year, Web3 leaders like Yuga Labs CEO Nicole Muniz and The Sandbox co-founder Sebastian Borget discussed NFTs, the metaverse, and cryptocurrencies.

Finally, the Consumer Electronics Show 2023 in Las Vegas took place last week and Web3 technology was on full blast. The conference saw several companies release new products, including LGS Electronics smart TV that lets you trade NFTs and a new virtual reality headset from HTC.

Folks interested in the TMRW Dubai 2023 conference will have to wait until February. But it looks like no matter what comes out of it, it’s clear the frigid crypto winter hasn’t killed people’s enthusiasm to talk about NFTs, the metaverse, and Web3.
