Users and owners who clicked on this old URL on CryptoBatz's official account became victims of the fraud. Users were prompted to link their cryptocurrency wallets after clicking on a fraudulent link that requested them to authenticate their crypto holdings.

The total number of "community members" shown on the bogus Discord website was 1,330, which is thought to represent the number of persons who had been defrauded at the time.
