More merch options are coming to non-fungible token fans. The Hundreds revealed this week that it has partnered with the Cool Cats NFT team for a merchandise drop. Available are t-shirts — short and long sleeve — and totes, all emblazoned with a Cool Cat mascot-Adam Bomb Squad mesh.

Adam Bomb Squad is the official NFT project of The Hundreds, a popular California streetwear brand. The 25,000 NFT collection features bombs with varying attributes like background and facial expression. It manifests in the merch drop as the Cool Cat mascot with a stick of dynamite in between its ears and a small wick attached.

The Hundreds teased the collaboration on Monday, tweeting, “Alright, it’s official…we are teaming up with @coolcatsnft! Here’s a sneak peak of what’s coming this week.” The public sale of the merch began on Wednesday night 9 pm Pacific and will last 72 hours. Adam Bomb Squad, Cool Cats, and Cool Pets holders got an early crack at purchasing at 3 pm Pacific that same day.

The Hundreds is known for partnering with different NFT collections on merch drops, having done so with the Bored Ape Yacht Club and Smilessvrs in the past. It has also gained recognition for creating brilliant marketing tactics, such as “bankrolling” the protestors at NFT.NYC 2022.

Right now, the floor price of the Adam Bomb Squad collection sits at 0.29 ETH or around $460. The floor price of the Cool Cats collection, on the other hand, rests at 2.55 ETH or $4,700. Cool Cats has seen a steep fall this 2022, even before the widespread bear market, as questions about the team’s communication and ability to execute have surfaced.

Web3 Collabs Are Abound in 2022

Even though a bear market has hampered enthusiasm in Web3 this year, the current investor sentiment has not stifled the number of collaborations Web3 companies are forming each week. Here are three stores Rarity Sniper has covered about Web3 partnerships just in the past month.

Earlier this week, we reported that the Los Angeles Rams had joined forces with Dapper Labs to provide collectors with Super Bowl ring NFTs. The NFTs are based on the real-life rings Rams’ players and coaches received for their victory in last year’s Super Bowl.

A month ago, Nancy Ajram, a famous Arab singer, revealed that she had partnered with famous DJ Marshmello to release a single in the DCL metaverse. One interesting twist on this collab was that users had the opportunity to receive IRL merch.

Also a month ago, news broke that crypto artist FVCKRENDER was teaming up with fragrance brand DJ & Durga for a genesis NFT collection. Collectors who bought an NFT from the collection stood to receive IRL perks, including an actual bottle of perfume.

The Hundreds’ collab with Cool Cats is big news for the NFT space, which has seen lack of interest since the April bear market started. And it could revive some hype for Cool Cats themselves, which has fallen on hard times.
