NFT Paris, the largest European event devoted to non-fungible tokens, is set to take place on February 24 and 25 at the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris next week. The conference is expected to attract up to 10,000 NFT fans, Web3 leaders, and pioneering brands from around Europe and the world.

According to the founders, Côme Prost-Boucle and Alexandre Tsydenkov, NFT Paris will focus on the cultural revolution associated with NFTs. And they couldn’t have found a more fitting venue: The Grand Palais is located in the Champs de Mars at the foot of the Eiffel Tower and is considered to be the cultural and artistic epicenter of Paris dating back to the 1900’s.

Some of the biggest names in Web3 will be speaking at NFT Paris, including Greg Solano (Yuga Labs), Julian Holguin (Doodles), Eric Calderon (Art Blocks), Jonathan Perkins (SuperRare), Inna Modja (World of Women), and FrankDegods (DeGods) — among others.

Besides the talks, event-goers will have the chance to see creative and immersive works, including a piece by renowned American visual artist Tom Sachs. They will also be able to mint their own NFT at the event.

Furthermore, there will be an official Afterparty hosted by Unpaired, a Boat Party hosted by y00ts, DeGods, and Pudgy Penguins, a Generative Art Summit hosted by Ledger and Art Blocks, and a Future Fashion Summit hosted by Hollywood Labs, redDAO, Ledger, and Tezos and Purple.

NFT Paris is sponsored by Ledger, Unstoppable Domains, MakersPlace, Cyber Brokers and more, as well as media companies such as NFT Now, Rug Radio, Bazaar, Le Parisien, Capital Magazine and others. The price of admission is 390 euros for both days.

Web3 Conferences Are Happening Around the World

NFT Paris is a big deal for Web3 enthusiasts in Europe and France. But it certainly isn’t the only Web3-focused conference we’ve seen recently. At Rarity Sniper, we’ve written several articles about NFT conferences and events this year. Here are some of the top stories.

First, about four months ago, Oxford University hosted its annual Oxford Blockchain, Art & Technology Conference with Web3 thought-leaders from around the world. The conference was focused on the “aesthetic, social, and anthropological perspectives” of non-fungible tokens.

Next, the NFT Biennial took place at the Zorlu PSM in Istanbul, as well as nine other locations around the world. The event aimed to merge the art world and the digital world together. There was over 100 NFT works of art exhibited at the Zorlu PSM from January 6th to 15th.

Finally, early this month, Dubai hosted the TMRW Dubai 2023 conference, a three-day event featuring over 80 speakers working in a myriad of Web3 fields, including NFTs, crypto, and the metaverse. One topic that was discussed was the potential of NFTs and their utility beyond collectibles.

As Web3 becomes more of a mainstream idea, people are looking for events where they can learn more about nascent technologies like NFTs, crypto, and the metaverse. We’ll have to wait until next week to see if NFT Paris is success, but considering the quality of the people who are speaking and the number of Web3 brands involved, we don’t doubt it will be.
