VeeFriends founder Gary Vaynerchuk recently sent patent requests for a Web3 consulting firm to the USPTO. According to these new documents, Vaynerchuk’s new business will help clients develop a complete Web3 strategy.

In keeping with his Web3 focus, Vaynerchuk wants to call his new firm “VAYNER3.” Gary Vee’s trademark applications seek protection for the “VAYNER3” name and a logo with one black triangle and three slanted lines.

There aren’t specific details on how VAYNER3 will operate, but these patents say it will offer businesses “consulting services” and “strategic planning” in various Web3 fields. In addition to NFTs, VAYNER3 may help clients bring crypto and metaverse technologies into their business models.

The two recent patents also mention three business areas VAYNER3 will focus on:

  • Advertising
  • Marketing
  • Promotion

As the CEO of VaynerMedia, Gary Vaynerchuk already has plenty of professional experience in the above fields. However, it’s unclear how VAYNER3 will fit into Vaynerchuk’s larger media consulting company.

Officially, Gary Vee’s company VaynerNFT, LLC, filed the recent patent requests for VAYNER3. Neither VaynerNFT nor Gary Vaynerchuk has formally commented on these filings.

Gary Vee Leads the Way in Web3

Over the past few years, Gary Vaynerchuk has become one of the NFT industry’s most influential creators and supporters. Although Vaynerchuk has been involved in countless NFT projects, he’s still best known for his highly successful VeeFriends NFT collection

Launched in May of 2021, VeeFriends is a collection of 10,255 NFTs with hand-drawn images by Gary Vee. These valuable NFTs come with unique perks, including VIP access to Gary Vee’s popular Web3-focused conference, “VeeCon.”

Speaking of “VeeCon,” the most recent conference just wrapped up in Minneapolis this May. A few of the hundreds of celebrities who took to the stage at 2022’s VeeCon include:

  • Snoop Dogg
  • Pharrell
  • Logan Paul
  • Steve Aoki
  • Eva Longoria

As if creating VeeFriends and organizing VeeCon wasn’t enough, Gary Vaynerchuk invested heavily in the successful NFT trading platform Candy Digital. Candy Digital is an official NFT partner with Major League Baseball.

Gary Vee also partnered with VCR Group to create NFT membership cards for an IRL restaurant. As Rarity Sniper reported a few months ago, VCR Group minted 1,151 of these “Flyfish Club” NFTs, each of which doubled as access cards to the exclusive Japanese eatery.

Besides building innovative NFT projects, Gary Vee is one of the most prolific NFT collectors. Gary Vee holds NFTs from many blue-chip projects, including the Bored Ape Yacht Club. Gary Vee also made headlines when he bought the “Fire NFTs” associated with the BIG3’s Triplets team.

If Gary Vaynerchuk is working on a Web3 consulting agency, he certainly has enough first-hand experience in the NFT industry.
